I noticed (some time ago, but was too lazy to post) that you can scroll through the photo gallery of certain apps with the keyboard on BBW.

For example, on BBM 's gallery. This seems quite unusual and it makes me wonder why wasn't this implemented in the phone gallery if it functions on BBW...

Formerly Z10 and Leap user (never used a full keyboard phone before)

So for I am not happy with the F and J keys not having any sort of knub or tactile feel. I'm constantly trying to find my center. I definitely am settling in minus that and I want to be able to type not looking at the keyboard.

I'm going to have to super glue a plastic shard or something to make it more usable.

    Other than that, it's sweet.
JUST HANG IN THERE - this is a champion Thoroughbred - think American Pharaoh - do NOT glue something on, just give yourself some time to learn how to ride this amazing workhorse of a device!!!!

Really - in another week or two or three, you will be up and running with your PK typing! I'm a professional writer and just replaced my Blackberry Bold 9900 with the PP SE (also have iPh4s, but I hate hate hate typing on glass!). With the PP, it's just a matter of adjusting from the 9900's keyboard to the PP's keyboard and also the much bigger leap from BB7 to BB10 - that's far more frustrating than the PKB differences!

Try to be patient with yourself and gentle with your Passport - no glue-on shards!!! After all, Rome wasn't built in a day. For now, just glance while your fingertips feel their way from the edges of the space bar to the j and k. Before you know it, you'll be doing it without looking.

Relax and enjoy your Passport - all learning curves take time!!!

[QUOTE=Poi25;11546728]When swiping down to access numbers (mapped to letters) I wish they'd incorporate this:

Let's say I want to type a phone number, 123-456-7890. Swipe down, type W for 1, keyboard closes. Swipe down, type E for 2 and now mapping remains locked as if I held @123 key. I feel two swipe downs on the keyboard in a short amount of time signifies that I want to type a string of numbers/characters.

Actually this is exactly how things works, at least on my pp. If I swipe down and press w it appears 1, press j for ; and so on.... all the faded characters that appears on the virtual keyboard when swiping down can be introduced by clicking the correspondent key.

I didn't see this one here and I stumbled upon by accident. When you have a picture open you can zoom in with the 'i' key and zoom out with the 'o' key

I tried that in the Camera and somehow got the gridlines turned on, although I'm not sure what I did and I cannot reproduce it.
