Just got my passport and so far I am not nearly as fast as on my z10 but it's so accurate. Almost no typos. So far I am not really trying to type fast, just working on accuracy.
It's working out well so far.

Same here. Slow but sure - just love the keyboard.

My only gripe is the space bar which feels as though it is flush with the body of the device. All the keys protrude from the body and are easy to feel. I find the space bar is much more difficult to feel and press.

I'm sure I'll get used to it soon though. I've only had it for 6 days so far!

Coming from the Z30 it took me two weeks to write as fast as before.

Great keyboard? No. I will always prefer four rows vs three.

I would say it is a functional keyboard. But far from excellent keyboards like the Bold's or the Classic's.

I have to agree. It's not the fastest keyboard. However, that's the tradeoff I'm willing to take for the ability to scroll webpages. This feature is so nice. I thought it was just gimmick and didn't use right after I bought it. The last couple of weeks I started to rotate the phone 90 degrees and use it to scroll. Then key shortcut P for previous page, R for Reader mode. I like it more and more.

Yes took me a few days to get use to it, the scary part is try going back to your Z30 or 10 after using the PP for a month. You won't believe the mistakes.

I do wish it was 4 rows though but the accuracy is incredible.

It took me a few days to get use to it from a z10. You will be a typing machine! I write paragraphs in no time.

I've been using the passport since launch and love it. It takes some time to build some muscle memory on the keyboard but you'll be zooming along in no time. I recently had to temporarily switch back to my z10 and my typing has gone to hell even when I used to be so good on it.

It gets more comfortable over time. I'm three weeks in and the difference is absolute. The accuracy is great- one thing I never mastered on the Z series- and the speed just comes with use.
The space key is all mental. It's the only void on the keyboard, it's at the bottom in the center, you notice that it's there immediately, It's the one place you never have to look.
I enjoy the new layout. Once you're used to it the speed will come.

Another one coming from the Z30. It took a couple of weeks but I hit the sweet spot. The keyboard rocks. As a user of nothing but virtual for years, and new having had a physical before this, never thought I'd say that.

Fast? No. Accurate? Yes. Gladly give up the 1.5 seconds extra to type on the Passport versus fixing typos, or hoping readers didn't catch them and/or think I can't spell.

The space bar is not giving me any trouble at all. In fact a common typo before was to get hit the b above the spacebar.

My z10 was great and not a lot of typos (excellent autocorrect.) Switched to an LG G3. Awful typing experience. Passport is great, especially after 2 weeks. Picked up my 9900 and everything felt tiny.

the keys are too hard to hit but i do swipe the words, then have to go back to adjust grammars. soft keyboard is much easier imo.
