    Me too.

I receive my PP on Tuesday and from then until today I have recharged the battery four times. Is that normal?

No idea. Mine keeps draining even when idle! Have closed most background apps. Still nothing is better . It hardly covers half a day on a full recharge!

use an autoloader. ota update will self-destruct. dont let your phone over heat. it shouldnt take long to settle.

I finished with the autoloader part. Now it is less warmer yet to check the battery. Can I load playstore and android apps? Will it again increase the draining?

I would suggest leaving the phone alone for a day or so plugged in and on wifi to let it sync and configue itself.

you can go ahead with cobalt's method...no it will not increase battery drain. I keep all unused apps from running in the background by checking device manager now and then..you can close playstore and googleid, they will usually stay closed..until called on

Have added Cobalt's version of Playstore and installed WhatsApp android app for now.

Everything seems normal and drain is far less but the device gets lil warm when using android app. Hope this settles as time progresses.

    Thanks again.

It's usually because of the Android background apps.

Yes it is. So have installed minimal apps and have stopped all apps from running in the background. Now it's much better

All the apps that can actually be set as not running in the background and not running when minimised are set so, yet the Passport still overheats. I still have quite a few Android apps on it, but, really, what can we do if BlackBerry doesn't support most apps? No choice really..

It seems like after 10.3.3, android apps are draining more batteries. It was fine with 10.3.2.
