Just wondering if anyone noticed this gesture. Couldn't find anything in the forums.

When in a folder of apps usually you swipe up to exit the folder. Whenever I was in a folder I kept on exiting. I couldn't figure out why as I never swiped up to exit. Tried to recreate the scenario a few times until I discovered that when you swipe across the keyboard like you are deleting a word, it will exit you from the folder.

I can't seem to recreate this. Are you talking about the file manager?

Not the file manger. It's in a folder that you create to organise your apps.

I have folders like utilities, news, etc. This gesture works in those type of folders.

And you can swipe left or right on keyboard to exit.

I'm not sure if this is the behavior he is describing but on my z10 diagonal swipe or even almost horizontal swipe will exit a folder(similar to a back swipe in android apps).

Maybe they implemented this into the keyboard.

Just try on the Z3. Horizontal swipe on the bezel exits the folder too!

Got it. Now, if only they would enable the touch keyboard to swipe between home pages; that would be amazing!

Agree 100%. I think we will see more and more swipe functions opening up on the passport keyboard in future updates.

After a day and I'm fully used to the keyboard, but many more swipe functions and gestures hopefully come in future updates.

Exiting the folder as opposed to what? If I'm in a folder, and swipe up, closes the fold. Am I missing something?

    Understood now. Nevermind the above.
