There's a leak for the passport - 10.3.1.2480 or something. Solves the problem. Search the OS leaks section for passport.

I had never installed a leak on my Passport before, I waited for so long for the official update. And then I had the flickering too. I was so bummed out and annoyed. As soon as Bla1ze posted this I went for it:

    http://crackberry.com/leaked-os-1031...-now-available

That update seems to have solved the flicker and I will not ever hesitate to install a leak again. It's solid. Some say that it makes everything (all apps, especially android) run a bit smoother. While I can't confirm or deny that, I haven't seen a flicker since I loaded it and I am happy.

Just reboot it. Should fix it for a few days. It's very random. There's a patch on the way. Or you could install the leaked O/S as the other poster said.

Reboot it a few times. My previous version eventually worked itself out. But the latest version seems to have done the trick. Seems like the official beta group's consensus is that it's gold!

The flickering is making my Passport unusable at times. Playing music opening apps and it's happening. Before it was minor in the photos app.

Thread title edited to something a tad less dramatic/emotional.

    Thanks.

Everyone talks about flickering issues, but what about the major Issue with the sound volume in the Notifications, alarm and the Media???? The sound has drastically gone down.

    Is BlackBerry addressing this Issue?

I'm was in the beta group. No one complained about sound in our group. My volume is fine. Can you expand on that?

The notification "bug" only affects a select few. Maybe it's harder to reproduce at BlackBerry's end. It seems a limited number of Q10 and Classic users are having the same issue. Interesting that it is mainly the keyboard units. Hard to imagine why they would be connected.

I had screen flickering right after I installed the new update on my Passport. I rebooted my PP (model number
sqw100-1), and the flickering was no longer happening. My PP was purchased through ShopBB.

As for the volume issue, I went into the settings and redid the volume settings. No problems after that.
