I had to pull over to the side of a busy highway the other day to handle a call from the bank requiring numerous account numbers etc which I had to BBM my spouse for as I didn't have them with me. And also send an email out with picture attachments that were renamed on the fly so it would make sense to the receiver on a completely different matter.
For me this was a fairly stressful situation as all the matters were somewhat urgent and very time sensitive so it was so nice having the large screen & pkb and smooth flowing os 10 to jump around in effortlessly.

I'm sure a lot of people here could do much more on their own phones but this combo was perfect for me as I would have fumbled with a vkb and would have to jump through a few more hoops to accomplish this through other os's ( bit of a guess not totally familiar with Android / IOS).

Anyways the Passport came through for me!

Great story. Thanks for sharing. And it's all true. The Passport is in a class of its own.

Another plus with a BlackBerry Passport is the fact that you can open all documents from banks and insurance companies unlike the iphone and android.

Good to hear it worked out! In a similar situation I wouldn't even have thought of pulling out my previous android phone, as nice as it was, and would have looked for a laptop.

Here's my story. About 3 years ago, when I had a Z10, I was in a store parking lot just around closing time on a wintery night, and I noticed that the lady parked beside me was having a hard time. She had locked her keys inside of her running car, along with her purse and cell phone and was trying to figure out what to do. She had roadside assistance through her car manufacturer but she didn't have the number or a phone (both in her purse).

So with my Z10 we got online, found the number, she called, then we used the flashlight on the Z10 to be able to see the VIN number on the car, then the stock mapping app to provide the exact location of the car (street, cross streets) and all while talking to the roadside assistance folks the same time. Another phone could have done the same thing but my Z10 sure felt like a great Swiss Army knife that day and the lady was very impressed with the Z10.

performance is so much more consistent than my "more powerfull" Priv running Android. Passport always ran very very smooth... Priv lags like an a**

BB10 is a professional users dream, loving the keyboard devices. Android and iOS have app support but aren't business driven devices outside of that in my experience. I don't ever want to lose BB10 unless we get 11 lol... BlackBerry man what happened???!!!!!! (sad)
