Apologies if this has been posted somewhere already (I didn't see it in any recent threads).

Amazon has the unlocked black Passport in stock as a "black Friday" deal for $499.99.

The black one also ships to Canada and is cheaper than buying from BlackBerry direct

I don't think you have anything to feel bad about. Sure you paid $100 more but you also got the product a couple months earlier than everyone taking advantage of this deal.

That makes BB gonna fail again, becoz they don't control the price well, they always make the user doubt the price they paid for. They are good in making good things but they aren't good in marketing side. Comparing to IPhone and Samsung, these two always firm with their price, they don't drop 100 or 200 in a month or two, that makes their user feel the value of owning their phones. We pay such a high price for a good product, but not to buy the ego of being able to use it earlier than anyone. I have nothing to loss, the most it is only usd100 to 200 in a months or two, but I am sure everyone will be the loser at the end when one day you don't see BB phones anymore.

No it doesn't. Don't make too big a deal over it, the company is just trying to offer some nice marketing promotions. Every business will do that.

People could pose the same question and not buying yet. They will sit there and debate and before they could finish their discussion, the price go back up to $600 and they miss the train. They will be waiting even longer.
