That happened to me when I installed Kindle from the Amazon App store... Uninstalled it and I got four days of battery... Check if it's a recently installed app, probably and android one... Uninstall, reboot and see if it improves.

You have to use an autoloader with the not so latest version 2318 or something like that is the best...

Check in Device Monitor, there are all apps listed who use a lot of your battery you might or should uninstalle the one that uses the most

Hi. I looked at the Apps monitor and Android player takes 35%. System takes 31 %. Stand By takes 14% and Display takes 13%. All others such as what apps and yahoo mails take less than 0.2 %. Any help to save more energy.

I turned on my passport at 630am and by afternoon at 3pm, the battery would be dead. I didn't even get on the website. Maybe some phone calls or getting emails. Any help pleasae.

It happens to me as well but I use my phone more frequently with BlackBerry Balance, I did use my Playbook charger to fire up my Passport as it was amazingly fast, but later I realised that the faster is charges the sooner it drains. I moved on to my original Passport charger and it looks fine now. But I see your battery power consumed by system and display, android player is on the higher side. Suggest reload your OS or move to a previous version of OS to get a fix.

Pretty sure you have an android app problem. You may have to delete/reinstall/find an older version that works better. How many android apps do you have? Maybe go into settings/app manager/Application Permissions/click on app/turn off "Run when minimized" .

Had the same issue here. Don't know what the root cause was, but only a factory reset using BlackBerry link (which also did an OS update) helped.

No need to panic, that's just the BlackBerry experience.
A wipe will fix the device. Then after a period of usage it will continue to act up.
    Enjoy your marvelous device.
