Wow that's new, I've just updated to release .1779 on vodaphone UK for my passport. Took the phone of charge overnight at 100%, left home at 8.30am, been working in the hub on my commute, absolutely no media, it's now 9.10am and my battery is showing 61%, WTF is going on with this update that's destroyed my battery. I normally get 36 hours easy with heavy use. This is like when I first got the Z10. Anyone got ideas...

Yeah, mine is very ordinary too. With only light use today, I'm at 23% left at 9.15pm. Normally on a heavy day it would be between 40-50%. Updated early this morning so will give it a day or two to settle down

Give it a day or 2 after the update. Bad or horrible battery life has always been the case with BB10 after an OS upgrade/downgrade. Typically a day or 2 after the process the battery settles in.

Besides all the indexing it has to do(SD card, internal storage, cloud services, emails, etc), the device also has to recalibrate the battery meter.

No volume issues so far, only issue I've noticed was a flickering cursor when selecting text this morning when writing emails.

I'll put it down to settling in and hope the battery improves over the next few days.

I'm doing OK one day after update....47% remaining after 26hrs use and forecast is for another 15 hrs.

WOW I take it all back here is my battery now after full day use at work, one day after update, blackberry I take it all back you are true legends, I promise to never doubt your superior technical acumen ever again!

I'm actually getting better performance from my battery since the update. I was getting one and a half days before, now I'm getting a whole extra day and I have quite a bit of email and data traffic on my phone.

I'm still on 10.3.0 and average 17 hours battery life. That's on Data all day and playing Trivia Crack hourly.

Changed my display settings back to 30 second time out and now my battery is back to plus 36 hours - f..ing awesome.

My average battery life is 17 hours apparently, which looking at lots of these posts is really not what I'd expect.

Brightness down quite low (20%) 2 email accounts and twitter. I use BBM a reasonable amount but still doesn't feel like enough to warrant this.





Any thoughts? I've had various builds on, no real difference with any of them.
