Has anyone else had this since 10.3.1 or is it just me? It is so infuriating to come to a screen that has called out to dozens of random contacts, sent itself emails or opened applications without me intentionally doing anything!

Turn off 'Swipe to Wake' in your display settings.

That's not a solution. They should fix this.

I'm not a BlackBerry employee. I'm simply giving a way to fix it until BlackBerry improves it.

Press and hold the "k" key before putting it in your pocket. This locks the screen.

I've been doing that but I've realised the device has tried to unlock itself as its precariously on the screen where I have to input 'blackberry' before entering the manual pin code.

Don't think I've had this happen before with the passport. There were a few moments with the z10 and picture password as well but I think that was because I failed to lock it first.

I've tried this..... doesn't really work for me.

I'm glad to see this thread. I thought I was doing something wrong and didn't know how to fix it.

Thank goddess they put the enter "blackberry" after password attempts or mine would have maxed out several times.

That's the only solution if you're not going to use the phone with book case or a holster. You can always press U to see the lock screen.

As for fixing, you can wait forever. This will not be their high priority issue.

I ended up using a stilgut case, but in those few times I use it naked I always found the phone fkig around, sometimes calls, some times messages, even a few stickers went out, the worst was one time when it entered tu settings and messed around with mu configuration, it was really a pain in the A.

Turning off the 'Swipe to Wake' is not a solution but it is one of many ways to prevent unwanted waking up of your Passport when it is in pocket.

Other options are using holster and/or putting your Passport in a handbag or something that would prevent its screen to be in contact with some 'heat' cause by a friction such as when you placed it in your pocket jeans or breast pocket as in case of OP...
