Many of us have had many issues with cell reception while being in a given location in a hotel. You see, I and like many of you have used all of my BlackBerry devices as a 'Hotspot' for years and I must say, the Passport is truly the most awesome! While working an event last night at the Hyatt Regency,...in the basement lower level, the Passport indicated a solid 4 bars of signal strength! This is 'most def' the best performing BlackBerry to date.

The Paratek antenna technology in BlackBerry's recent devices (Z30, Classic, Passport) is excellent. My Classic is able to hold onto a signal in areas where other phones simply see no service whatsoever -- and it's still usable, unlike some other devices that indicate that they have a signal but mobile data winds up being slower than dial up service from the mid 1990's.
