Issues with Blend

1) Half the time it doesn't recognize my device - and when it does, it takes anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute.
2) File transfer between my desktop and Passport takes FOREVER - and routinely fails, especially when transferring over USB for some reason.

It was soooo much easier transferring files between my android devices and my desktop where the android device in question (Note 3) showed up in windows explorer and I could easily drag and drop between various files at 100x (exaggerated, but not my much) the transfer rate.

The device itself is amazing though, but it's a huge chore transferring files at the moment.

I use my 5g wifi connection and it's blazing fast for me. Sorry it isn't the same for you but blend has been the best thing ever, missed it so much from the playbook

I find transferring files over wifi takes forever compared to USB.

Hmmm needs a faster wifi router which can handle 500gb/sec transfer rate

I had some issues after installing Blend; but after rebooting the Passport, everything was fine.

Could the OP's problem possibly be to do with his router/computer's firewall? I know with BlackBerry Link I had to disable my computer's firewall to be guaranteed a fuss-free operation...
