So I was one of the first to trash the device (we had a lab unit courtesy of BlackBerry to test our App) after initially seeing it, showing it and using it as an companion phone to my trusty Q10. After two weeks I decided to go full hog and use it as my primary phone. This is where things changed and I realized what a powerhouse this unit was. Took time to get used to the polarizing look and feel. My only disappointment still left is the absolute inability to do text or fully handle the device with one hand. It really should have been a 1/2 inch narrower....but I'm over it. This device cannot disappoint once you get used to it. I guess while other device impress you with the immediate cosmetic look and feel...here the device needs to win you over. Shame...but true. How do you recommend a phone that you have to tell people who stare at it oddly..."use it...you won't like it at first...but it will amazingly grow on you".

Waiting on Amazon, and it is tearing me apart...

Glad to see you are enjoying the device now. Reading about everyone enjoying theirs should make for a much quicker adjustment period...

This thing is a workhorse. I picked up my Z30 after 3 days of the Passport. The difference is huge.

Working on the device is much easier. I'm very happy with this device also!

The Passport is pretty nifty, as Tim Allen said. It grows on you.

The size is perfect for me. I do not wish it to be narrower.

Showed mine to a couple of friends yesterday who have never been BlackBerry people and they both surprised me by saying that they really liked it.
