I have noticed the reduced battery life as well. My average hrs prior to the update was 25 hrs, now I'm down to 15.

Probably there's something you are doing differently with the phone now. #justsaying

I had the same problem. Then I went to app monitor and turned off "run when minimized" and location services for those apps not requiring it. It did wonders to my battery life. This specially helps when you have android apps installed

A few others have reported a drop in battery life with OS 10.3.2.798 (SR 10.3.2.516) as well, try OS 10.3.2.680 (SR 10.3.2.440) which has been officially released for the Passport.

Thanks - i will try the run when minimised advice first.

Before trying the other advice - to upgrade - or alternatively downgrade the version of 10.3.2 I have installed - could I ask if anyone has direct experience of the three versions (and if so which was best in terms of battery life)

    Thanks!

That's why I told you to upgrade. I was on this one when it first came out.

Unfortunately AFAIK you can't downgrade from 10.3.2 to 10.3.1. But I can vouch for .680 having better battery life

One thing I found out is that when you update a new OS, you tend to use the phone more than you normally would because you are trying to explore the new OS. Just my two cents.

I have been running 2204 for a couple of days - and battery life is better - but i am still not getting through to late evening.

In terms of battery life 10.3.1.2582 was significantly better!

If your using the Device Manager to determine what your battery life is, it's not the best to go by. Also after OS updates the percentage of battery could be lower than normal for a couple charge cycles.

Another cause can be apps you previously had on the phone causing havoc with the new OS. Re installing apps after an OS update may sometimes be necessary.
