Czech server mobilenet.cz just reported that Czech price of the Passport will be 16000 Czech Krons after VAT which roughly translates to EUR 480 before VAT.
The expected price for Classic also is mentioned to reach CZK 11.000 or EUR 400 after VAT which translates to EUR 330 before VAT.

It's confirmed. I know these guys (bought all my BB from them). They have some kind of special agreement with BB to resell their's devices and services in Czech republic, so there are some kind of "3rd party authorized resellers".

why are you ppl impressed? with VAT thats about 700 EUR. thats the price of the iphone 5s. im impressed how expensive it is. i was hoping for 600 EUR which would still be 1.5 times more expensive than in the US and still 100 EUR more expensive than a Galaxy S5

edit: if thats the real pricing of the password then they can book themselves a huge fail already

Not really.. VAT there is 21% so the final Passport price (if the source is legit) is going to be 500.8 EUR.

Pretty much a decent price placement if you ask me.

    ????

maybe for the classic, which as rumours say wont even sport newer hardware than the q10. 480*1.21=580 EUR for the passport. in my country vat is 27%, that would be 610 EUR for the passport

    + import duties!

Why have import duties too, lol. Generally it's another 7 - 30 % depending on goods type.

So VAT + import tax it's like 30% (it's little bit complicated because of ******** EU regulations).

If the price is the same for every country (i mean the 480 before VAT) so in Italy it should cost 580Euro too.
That is a very competitive price!
Definitely a very good news if confimred (i expected a pricey 649Euro)
Now let's put a pre-order website on! My money is waiting for too long now

???? You need to look at in context. It's a point of reference for a 3rd party vendor that supplies most of the Czec Republic... it's not the OPs opinion like in other threads.

I remember when I was buying Q10 almost exactly year ago from the same guys mentioned by OP and price was almost $1000 exactly.

So Passport price looks much better in this context.

The Z10 sold here in Ireland for €550 when it came out. I was honestly expecting something along the lines of €650 for the Passport. €500 w/ VAT is a very competitive price imo. Let's also remember that this is the price without contract...

16000 cz is 461 uk pounds - but pound is quite high at the moment. Q10 started at (I think) 519 pounds but quickly reduced and stabilised for most of the time at 479.
As vat rate in uk and cz is 20 percent -
I think it hints at 479 pounds as a start price in uk. Although I wont be surprised by 519 although I think that would be a mistake on BlackBerry part.
Personally I could be tempted at 479 - I paid that for Q10, Id need to check reviews. At over 500 though I wont be interested.

guys, prices for end customer are with VAT. (which is 21% - more or less - average in all EU)
so generally, you could buy in Czech straight for them and have shipped in all EU without any additional taxation (since EU, you know)

according them, and with some rounding, the end user prices should be somethig like
    classic - 400 eur (ah, 399.99 EUR)
    passport - 600 eur (599.99 eur)

if that's the case - 100% that I will buy myself a Passport!
