They seem to have a small burn in period.

When I first got the passport, the sound was very tinny and even quieter than it is now.

After a bit, the bass opened up and now they sound better than my audio technica ath ad 700s with xonar dg + headphone amp.

For personal listening these speakers are the best I've heard. Better than panasonic htf-600 also.

Plus nothing to go over your pagri.

Also, remember to use airplane mode in the equalizer settings. It ups the volume considerably, and gives a fuller richer sound.

The speakers are probably 25-30% louder each, but sound more like 50 in my car.

And that's with me holding the phone so they are pointing down. Pointing them towards is the next best to live.

Sorry, but having tried your tip for a while now, the air plane mode alters the sound a lot, in my experience; so much so that it makes the music sound unnatural and seriously lacking in bass. I'm on the stock OS 3.1.0.1418.

Idk, works fine for mine with lots of classical string instruments like tumbi and sarang.

Much louder, I got used to viper4android and it doesn't work on bb10 yet.
