    Hi all, I just received a text from a client (one I've been trying to reach for a long time), and it's in Chinese??? O_O She sent it in english (probably from an iphone) and I got it in Chinese! Anyone know what's going wrong? :-/

    Check all LANGUAGE settings are ENGLISH.

    Any Chinese uninstall.


    but... i do think it was her phone that is the issue not yours.

    That happens with those Chinese interception modules sometimes.... they forget to reset the intercepted messages back to it's original language.


    It's an issue for both Android and iPhone users.... sometimes double checking both the phone and keyboard language options might fix it. sometimes checking the time and date info can help. Other using a virus scanner fixed it (not that it reported any). Many belive it's a issue with the Carrier's network....

    It's not really Chinese, there is an issue with the communications..... UTF-16 big endian was interpreted by the receiving phone as UTF-16 little endian (or vice versa) and you just get junk characters.

    That would be cool if you had a keyboard that you press a letter or word in english and the corresponding translation in another language appears

    LOL, it's exactly what I thought. If you translate it back into English it says "Greetings from your new overlords. Don't go spreading any bad rumours about the Politburo, it's not in your best interest, hint hint".
