I finally ordered a Passport last week from Amazon and it arrived today. I charged the battery and turned it on for the first time a few minutes ago. My question: Is it normal to have welcome mails from BB in the hub dating almost 3 weeks back?

I haven't done much with it yet. Everything looks new and feels good. Just a little concerned.

Is the date on your device right? lol. Because maybe they're new and the date is wrong.

LOL wish that was the case. But I have welcome messages from my service center and BB Protect dating today and emails from BB (welcome and intro to hub) dating Dec. 15

That's interesting. I'd be interested to find out how that happened. No clue other than the obvious: it's been powered on before.

I'm thinking the same. The box was originally sealed (or at least it looked so to me). The phone looks great, no scratches, working just fine so far.
