Quick quesiton, I am about to purchase a sim card for my Passport from Net10 wireless in the US. Will it work? Is there anything I should know prior to purchasing?

Depends on which version you buy. Net10 is a MVNO, offering GSM and CDMA. In order for it to work on Passport, you would need a GSM version.

To add to what Bla1ze said, get a Net10 SIM card that uses the AT&T or TMO network. And if LTE and/or MMS don't work, you may have to pretend you're activating an Android phone, so I hope Tracfone Inc. customer service has improved.

Would just be a matter of APN settings or more?

APN settings,. MMS settings and whatever internal provisioning there is that tells the network "alright, this is actually an LTE capable phone so let's not hold it back on UMTS." @Bla1ze might know the system better.

APN is not editable on the AT&T network though. Not sure about MMS values.

Leaving off of what raino said, where do I go from here?
