where are the maps stored? I cannot figure it out (silly me) & want to see if it takes up phone resources or is on the SDHC which has plenty of room ??

Onboard device storage, and you can't move them to the SD, unfortunately.

ok, then, can one copy ones not used currently to the sd and move them back over to the device when needed ...for instance, I need benelux, FR, DE, maps when in the EU where I have a limited data plan while I downloaded the USA maps I use while in the USA ...it would be good to be able to move them over while they are not needed...

It doesn't support it, and I honestly don't know if there's even an API for that, since I've seen exactly 0 apps with SD card support for app data.

ok ... but what I want to do is store the maps I do not need currently on the microSDHC & move them bback over later when I need them...

I misspelled the title of this thread & don't know how to correct that to improve chances of a solution... if the mod sees this, please fix it...tia !!
