Love my passport it's the best phone I've had since 9700 but I'm so annoyed that every time it rings in my pocket it's goes silent and I don't know I'm receiving a call. It seems to happen when the screen is touched.

Turn it so it doesn't touch your leg...(face out)...It goes silent because it thinks you are answering it...

Apparently, this will be changed in version 10.3.1. Until then, you'll have to keep your hand out of your pocket, I guess.

Or for the time being, disable the option touch to unlock, maybe that will do the trick.

That's been the intended behaviour since 10.2.1 - if you haven't answered it, but want to silence your phone, you just tap on the screen. It will still keep ringing.

Yes, have 10.3.1 leak installed and see this got changed. Now it won't mute by touching screen.

I don't even have to touch the screen sometimes just movement or holding the phone makes it silent

this doesn't happen with my Passport.

I like the fact that I can silence my Z10 by touching the screen. It's quick and easy. Especially when you're sleeping and a call comes in that you don't want to answer.

Did you not read about turning the phone so the screen doesn't face your leg? That's your solution until 10.3.1, take it or leave it

I actually like this feature and use it often if I'm talking with someone in my office and my phone rings while it's on my desk. I can take a look at the caller and a quick tap silences the ring, and I don't have to cancel the call or send a message to the caller. A simple quick tap silences the ring. Of course, the same thing happens if I pull the phone out of my pocket as it's ringing, but I can then accept, reject or ignore the call as I choose.

tl;dr: it's a feature that some find useful but others may find annoying.

I like the idea of the feature but if it's in pocket it silences, I miss calls just think they could change something

    Do what I do:
I got me a blue tooth headphone with voice interaction. If that person calling you is in your contact list it tells you who it is and then it asks you "answer or ignore".
You can leave the phone in your pocket.

My passport goes silent when screen is touched please help!!!!!-31ikm59ypol.jpg
