I bought it through Amazon unlocked and it bent in a very iPhone -like way.

What would be my best course of action?

Was it brand new or use certified? Either way you should be able to send it back and get another one. Was it your fault like did you sit on it or something?

It was brand new. I had it in my pocket, I did not sit on it or abuse it in any way.

Are you saying it spontaneously bent?

    in which pocket?!
it sounds quite doubtful that you managed to bend stainless steel in the pocket without sitting on it.

If that's the case you should be able to get a new one through blackberry or amazon.

No. It was in my front jeans pocket. It had to have gotten torqued in some way, but I didn't put it in a vice or stomp on it or anything.

I contacted Amazon, and they won't deal with it. They said I need to contact Blackberry.
    Ugh.

I made the switch back to BB for the Passport.

Man that is seriously rough. Because in the end, it is a user's fault. Thin metal bends, but if it was in your front pocket, unless something drastic happened it shouldn't do that. Good luck dude, hope it works for you.

Tight pants will do that. I'm amazed I beat the crap outa my phones. Dropped the passport about half a dozen times. (stainless is scratched to ****) no screen protector and I constantly sit on it in my back pocket. I think it might have a little bend to it but nothing like people have posted. I honestly try and break them within the first six months and no luck. (same with Zed30).

I understand that the Iphone 6 bend because everyone can bend it, however, the Passport everybody try to bend it, but none can bend it so I have no idea how it is bend with your Passport.

Agree... It's got to be defective device. I see everyone try to challenge John Chen to bend the Passport but none of them are succeeded.

I had gotten a doa unit at one of our dealers and since it was going back doa anyways I thought I'd try to bend it to see if it would.

The stainless steel rim is really hard to bend and so with significant force it may bend but only with significant force!

yes thats true, sounds quite doubtful, if you are not sit on it. actually today i dropped my passport from waist to the grown (ceramic tile), and nothing happened at all, even there is no scratch at all.

So I really doubtful if it could bended by itself in the pocket

    1. Had a case on it.
    2. Never sat on it.

Thanks for contributing to the conversation though. You were 0-for-2, but keep trying. You'll get it one day, sport.
