Waiting for the next BlackBerry update is like waiting for Windows 98 se. The first windows with USB support.

I guess because Windows95 didn't initially have USB support, but did introduce many features that were carried over into future OS versions? I suppose there could be a BlackBerry parallel there... Like BlackBerry didn't initially have all the bells and whistles but laid groundwork for future smartphone OS?

Or maybe I'm reading too much into it. I need a nap.

For those who "Did not get it". Wow....just wow! Either that or you are too young to remember Windows 95 A and B.

I remember Windows 95. It replaced windows 3.1 as I recall, which was the end of DOS.

I remember too, Windows 95, but after upgrading I mostly remember that Windows XP was the cat's meow until I realized it leaked like a sieve and there was nothing I could do about it.

But the 'I Don't Get It' part, I wouldn't see the parallel with BlackBerry. BlackBerry is not obsolete even with lack of support, at least not yet and for quite awhile to come.

Its a cute desktop motif, though, for all the rubbber-necker looks you are attracting anyway.

I've been rocking the OG Passport for almost 2 years now. I get the odd comment here and there about BlackBerry still making phones. Once they see this magnificent beast in action their words turn to envy. Not to mention how they are always looking to charge their phones while my Passport keeps on ticking. Best phone, best mobile OS, best pkb! The Passport is the envy of all other phones, IMO!

Well as to your co-worker I see two choices:
    1) Take the steel edge of the Passport and bury it his skull while screaming something like WAARRGGGHHHH!!!!
    2) Take the steel edge of the Passport and smash his crappy other phone still screaming WAARRGGGHHHHH!!!!
    3) Just laugh it off.
Let us know how it goes....I personally like the first choice, but the law enforcement may frown upon that. I know. . .no fun. . .
