Which music player are you using? I find the built-in one is basic and doesn't: allow music by folders and slipping tracks is not easy. I am using passport.

Agreed but you can't browse songs with folders

Well, if each folder is an album, then it's properly tagged to show up as an album.

If it's a playlist, make a playlist after sorting it.

If it's a jumbled mess, then fix it.

I like to stock Music player. Everyone I show thinks the album cover display is pretty cool when playing a song.

Stock. Works decently for occasionally music listening. All of my music is properly tagged and organised into folders.

I must be missing something because I can't seem to see them tagged by folder. Can you share the steps?

What does each folder represent? An album? An artist?

I have 18gb and over 100 playlists. I find the default music player to work just fine. Sure, there are others out there that might offer a few extra features, but I've always been happy with the default app.

You may want to give Neutron a try. Lots of users like that app - mostly for the improved performance of audio control.

I hope PowerAmp music player will be on Amazon AppStore soon. The most favorite music player app which I used every time on Android.

Stock music player here as well. Over 50 gigs of music organized into folders by artist and album, tagged with mp3tag, works great.

I agree. I posted a feature request in beta zone for play by folder a couple days ago.

My Sony mp3 player used to list the folders and I would play uncompressed, untagged audio this way as well as it was just easy to play the flavor of the month tracks with no extra work.

I've run into an issue and this is not specific to the BlackBerry music player but happens on iPhone too where the album name is tagged but for some reason, it lists the album name over and over without all the songs in one.

BB10 is an os with a file manager. I'd like to have a play by folder option too.

Stock for me. I've got a 128GB MicroSD in there mostly for the tunes. Just fantastic!

I don't know how many Android MP3 players I tried. All were shades of garbage. I don't need much but I do want to see all of my tunes and not have the player skip and stutter. The stock player has always worked well for me. I'm also impressed with how the FM radio works within the music player.

It'd be nice if they integrated podcatsing but bPodManager works well.

Using Latasy from BlackBerry World or Folder Player from amazon app store. Both index from folders so you can organize it in folders instead of playlist as I like to do.

We need more freedom with the equalizer, not just presets, that's why I like power amp but the stock player is better organized and better visually

You can use Baamboo Player, it supports playing songs by folders and edit song tags also. This app is native app, it uses cascade UI elements, check its feature here: https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...ntent/59962822
