So I've been wanting an all black passport, but it seems that getting the frets black is the hardest part

What if we just paint the stainless steel frame black? Has anyone done this mod before?

Don't think it's actually stainless steel all the way through (despite claims), so that's something to consider.

To get a sufficiently durable and high-quality finish, you'd need to strip it down, prime the metal parts and spray using professional auto paint. A lot of work...

SE edition if your going to get the passport, the design is nicer and doesn't age.
