Last night I watching a three minute You Tube video via Miracast. When I got up this morning, the Passport battery had almost fully discharged (I charge in the morning and it has never before been under 50%), and the display said 8.5 GB had been uploaded to Miracast. I cannot understand why any files would upload to Miracast at all, let alone a file of that size, whatever it is. I suppose that is what ran the battery down?

    Anyone seen this before? Thanks.

Oh, wow -- I've never seen/heard of anything like that, before?

Let me play around with Miracast on my Z30 (STA100-3/10.3.1.1016) and see if I see anything similar. If I do, I'll post my findings, here.

I did play around Miracast with Bravia, however I ensured that I disconnect at the end of video or usage. Haven't observed battery fast drain while using Miracast. Will give it try for longer hours after charging 100%.

Interesting. I must have left it running? I guess next time I will exit out before leaving the phone. Thanks for the insight!
