Saw the deal on amazon. Was just curious about SD cards. What's the best type of information i should have saved on my SD card? How do I transfer stuff from my phone to be SD card. Thanks.

I save everything to SD card, just use the file manager to move stuff to it.

I mainly store everything to my SD Card also. I just used the File Manager to move everything over.

Photos/Music/Videos/Ringtones/Documents (Encrypt the SD if your documents are sensitive) pretty much anything you want. (Except apps, apps must stay on the device storage)

Music, pictures and videos, or in other words: media data. I also store my backups on it. - I would not store data on the SD card the device needs for work like ringtones or background images, this should get onto the device memory. So you can always pull the SD card without bringing the device in trouble.

Does this means Apps cannot be stored on the SD Card? or that it is not recommended? I have 5.4 of 8 GB used on the device and will need more space when the new OS 10.3.1 comes out. Thanks for your feedback.

Apps physically cannot be installed to the SD card. You can store bars and apks on the sd card (the installation files) but running them will just trigger the installation wizard (or whatever BlackBerry calls it) which will just install it to the device memory.

This is really only a problem with large games as most apps don't exceed a few MB.

Thanks for all the replies! Feels good to have all this storage space now.
