I have the dtek50 but I missed the BlackBerry os. I am a text, calendar and Facebook guy and I've always wanted the passport but held back because of the price. Just got it for $249.00 and I'm so excited. I've had BlackBerry phones before so I'm not unfamiliar with the OS. Any tips or recommendations before I get it?

So just got my passport and I'm loving it! Great screen and the keyboard is awesome. Keys on the priv I had were to small for my fingers but these are just right! All the apps that I need I've found. Look forward to playing with it some more :-)

Should we buy a Passport SE and lock it away? What about battery life? I'm pretty good with my devices but with failing performance I don't want to need a Passport SE and not be able to get one

It is $394 Canadian on sale at shop blackberry. Why buy used?

The original Passport is on sale for $329 and you can get it even cheaper on eBay.

I bought my SE in the spring 20% off sale for $520, free shipping and it arrived to my door in less than 36 hours. I should have waited till now to buy it, but I didn't think it would go on sale again due to low inventory.

I refuse to purchase brand new when the software is already aging. That's just me though. I collect electronics I love. By buying used I can have a q5, q10, classic and a passport for what you pay for off shopblackberry including taxes
