I just got it this morning along with a Tudia case. I got it on Amazon for $420.

It was not as hard to type as I was told. I even learned to get a lot done somewhat with one hand. But: there is no argument that this was made for 2 hands. I need to learn how to swype the suggested words though. It was way easier on my z30. But who knows, with some practice I can learn to make it work as good.

I love the screen. Android apps work better on this than on my Z30. Google maps is instant. I finally tried Cobalts Playstore. Wow, what was I waiting for.

Now a problem. The device, updated to 10.3.2.2339. I was very surprised. But now I have no idea where to find the device monitor. Is it hidden?

Ok, I found the device monitor. Thank you. Love this thing. Though I believe my finger muscles will need to develop to gain more stamina. They are tired.

By the way. I now have an excellent argument for PKB devices. Assigning shortcuts is money. I can change notification settings, open contacts, calendar, settings, access voice mail and more by just holding down a single key assigned to each. That really is a game changer for me.

I just got mine on Friday and got my nano Sim this morning and switched from my z30. About 10 hours in and loving it, but still adjusting to the physical keyboard again!

Cobalts install method for Google play store. I tried it and went back to Snap. I only wanted a couple via snap anyway.

Just got mine yesterday. For those who have had one for a while, how long would you say it took to adjust to the unique shape and design?

Not a long time. I don't think I Am as fast on the keyboard as I was on the curve but that was alot of years ago. The biggest thing for me is swiping up words. I dont do it enough or as much as I want. The beauty is bb10. I can't imagine suffering on apple or droids. It's too good on BlackBerry these days! Very interesting to see everything going right.

From my Z10 to Passport, maybe a week? My muscle memory for pkb typing returned in about 3 days. Now finding vkb to be a challenge when I play with my Z10.

I find it difficult to express my awe of this device. Each day I learn something new. I have never been so overwhelmed. For me it's about hardware and form factor. It's been a game changer. I have already been wow'd by BlackBerry 10.

I still love my Z30. The Passport is just a different animal. I get to enjoy both of them now.

FYI, you can setup your icons to make it easier to use one handed. There is a thread on this.

Had my passport a week now. I'm hoping my fingers get used to the pkb coming from my z10, getting plenty of cramps at the minute Initially I thought Id made a big mistake. The more I use it the more it makes sense. Size, which was my biggest worry isn't a problem. I thought it would be constantly digging into my leg when in my pocket but to be honest I have to pat my pocket every now amd again to make sure its there. I got the Stilgut case which I can highly recommend, adds very little extra bulk to the phone, smells and looks classy.

The screen, another pre purchase worry is simply the right way to be using a device. Working wide is great IMO. when you're sitting browsing web or reading through emails its much better to see the whole thing rather than having to scroll left and right. In fact there's something about the shape of the device that's quite fulfilling. its the size of a passport and is indeed your passport to all things web.

Getting used to the pkb is the hardest part coming from glass typing. Had my z10 two and half years so as you can imagine I was pretty fast at typing and jjst getting round the os generally. Tonight I had to wipe the 10 to give to a friend and after only a week of using the pp it seemed weird looking at any screen that wasn't square.

So far happy with mine, I think its going to grow even more.
