Just off the top, BB10 devices do tend to be busy in their first 36 hours or so of life. They are downloading stuff, indexing stuff and generally setting up... stuff.

Since the screen shows above 30% this shows that you might have the "can't put my new phone down" syndrome
When you get a new phone you always use it much more than you think. Maybe you can bring your brightness down?
It should get normal after a few days /week.
Don't panic yet. Had the same with my Q10.
Now that i use it "normal" iit gets me trough a whole day and a few hours

Well, you can see that it did get me through the day. I just figured it would get me through longer haha. I likely do have the never-put-it-down syndrome.

I got similar results on my first day. I think it's a combination of using it all the time and the device doing things in the background. It seems to have settled down now for me.

If I have battery from getting up until going to bed I'm pretty happy.

i was a little suprised I went to bed at 10.37pm and took it off charge. Woke up this morning just before 7pm to see it had dropped 17% overnight. Hope this improves as the phone 'beds in' and stops doing the initial background tasks, as 17 percent power drop overnight when it is supposed to be doing nothing is a bit of a suprise. I remember my iphone 4 would rarely drop even 1 percent overnight. I know its 'apples' and oranges, but I still think that this seems excessive. lets hope for an improvement in the next few days

Yesterday morning, my first day back at work after getting the Passport on Friday so I've gotten over the can't put it down syndrome (who am I kidding, I still pick it up and use it all the time) and from unplugging the charger through to lunchtime I used 5% battery - that was awesome. I feel the battery life when in standby is amazing. I would add that I've switched off Blend and NFC though.

For a new device and considering how much you used it (at 32% display usage might indicate you need some fresh air LOL), it's actually not bad. You got through the day. I shudder to think how many times you would have been intimate with the wall had you used another device
