    While composing emails and text messages, my passport running 10.3.2.556 has been substituting little pictures for text, for certain words such as birthday (I get a cake with candles) haircut (I get a girl with scissors on her head) even scissors gives me a pair of scissors. How do I make it stop?

    Yes, yes it is a bad thing. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But I only meant one word, the word that I typed, and not the 999 others.

    This has been happening with increasing frequency for many months now, and I've reset the phone many times using the top and bottom side keys. How do you do a hard reset?

    Try resetting it from your computer. Create a backup of your data and then erase everything from your phone.
