I'm an IT guy and sometimes I work in terrain, i.e. hanging under ceiling, kneeling on the floor, sitting under desks etc. Sometimes I find myself working in really awkward positions. My PP SE is always safely and comfortably in pocket of my pants.

It fits anywhere easily it's not really as big as people say. I had a Sony z ultra, same width but about 2 inches taller than passport and that is something you have to be careful with when carrying. Just get one

And on a side note because they are both the same width the Ultras screen protectors fit perfectly on the passport SE when you cut the height of it with a craft knife.

I wear my SE with leather case either in my trousers' front pocket (provided my Schweizer pocket knife isn't in) or in one of my waistcoat's internal pockets. Very agreeable to wear.

You could always get a feel for the size of the phone with an actual passport.

Take the Passport (paper one) and try holding it like a phone and insert in pocket. You will understand the size.

Front pocket always works for me in any clothes but jeans where I'll just slip it into the back and be on with my day.

I wear jeans all time and most of them all slim fit. Keep it in front pocket left side since day 1. Just keep this in mind "screen side faced towards your thigh" when you slip it in your pocket. Using passport since last year and no problem in keeping in front pocket

Thanks folks. Defiantly leaning towards the passport

    Always on my Q10!
Why are you defiant? Did someone wrong you?

No. That's not the reason. I find it fits more snuggly if you keep it this way. Earlier used to keep black one and now silver passport too. Feels more comfortable.

Front pocket, no case, with a screen protector. I still remember how huge I thought the deixe was at first. Almost embarrassingly huge. But that past after three days and never looked back.

Yeah I barely even notice the size anymore, except when I've been using the classic constantly over the last few days, and not even touched my Passport... which pretty much doesn't happen lol

Size isn't a problem at all. I also came from a Q10 to the Passport. Tried out my brothers Q10 last weekend and went absolutely crazy.
Just can't get back to the non capacitive keyboard.
The passport is just a little wider than the Q10 and that doesn't bother. Length is a problem, not the width. Give it a try you will get used to it In a few days and the double hand typing is as comfortable as on the Q10!

A lot depends on your clothing preference. Tight jeans are not the best idea with a slab like the passport. Baggy pants or a shirt pocket could be ok. That said, a protective holster that minimizes bending and torque risk is a safer bet. The passport is relatively thin and fragile when subjected to certain types of force, so being careful is a good idea.

The q10 is one of the best holding most pocketable phones ever made. The passport is all the opposite. Live with it, it is one hell of a compromise.
