Well, I do know what you need to do it. I haven't actually done it myself . So, just trust me!!
Google your question and depending on what device you're using you'll come up with which "kit" you'll need.
On a Passport, for example, you can use Miracast , screen mirroring, insta mirror, DLNA with the right adaptors which, with the cable included will cost between $7.00 and $20.00.

I believe your laptop will have to support HDMI input. Mine only does output as far as I know. I tried hooking up the Z30 once and didn't get it to work.
