Never that much disconnect 8am and have batery at 10 % at 11pm the only way to get 1 day or more in the active frame is with very low usage. On heavy or very heavy usage (emails, bbm, otg use, wifi, bluetooth, docs to go)I get about 8 or 5 hours. I expect more for this kind of battery but if it last until I get out of my office and go to sleep, is done for me.

When I was using Z10 I got about 6 hours average. On the HTC M8 I got about 8 hours average. On my current phone the Passport I am getting a average off 10 hours. This is all bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, email, phone, BBM, Keepass, Connectwise, browser and documents all day. Also using LTE.

10 hours, the display kills me, I have full brightness on, and use LTE quite a bit throughout the day
Q10 would last me about 6 hours under same conditions
Ten hours of real hardcore use...
    Sounds about right. :-)

I was able to do pretty much everything I needed/ wanted to do on my phone today. Rarely have to avoid playing candy crush for example to preserve battery to make it last the day.

I get around 15 hours on average.

Essentially any option that can be on is set to on and all apps/email accounts are set to sync as fast as possible. The only thing I don't have on full blast is the screen, I like it at 50% brightness.

I would consider my usage as heavy to extremely heavy usage, I regularly use about 25+ gb of data on my phone plan and probably much more than that on wifi. Stream hours on hours of video through miracast on a regular basis.

Moderate usage I get 12 to 15 hours. Heavy use I get 6 hours if I'm lucky. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Or maybe heavy use means different things to different people.

I watched streaming NBA game on LTE for three hours straight (this drained my battery by about 20%). Then I answered emails and read emails (I receive approx 200 emails per day an all my three accounts (some are spam).

Used Waze for about 30 mins. Bluetooth always paired to my peeble watch and location, wifi always on.

I would say I am a moderate to heavy user. But again that is relative. What is heavy for one might actually be light for others.

Anyways, I still get 13 hours of battery in my first three weeks and the past week 19-20 hours of battery.

I don't think I am a heavy user but I never get a day out of mine. It is a lot better than the Z10 but I have used 45% in the first five hours of the day.

It might last until the early evening but not long beyond that. I don't leave any apps running and send a few texts and emails throughout the day.

I would support what other people have said about battery life. The main difference for me between the Z10, which I used before, is that I would always be anxious with the Z10 about getting a charge if I was out for the day. After two months with the Passport this anxiety has gone. It is truly exceptional.

With Bluetooth and Wi-Fi always on.... from 5:00 AM to around 10:00 PM, I usually have about 50% left. I imagine that I could realistically get 36 hours out of a single charge, maybe 48 with lighter use.

I am not an expert about batteries but I think the device monitor shows a reading based on current usage. So if you have been really active it will impact the hours or days left. If you let it sit idle for a few minutes and do another device monitor it will give a much greater forecast. For me it took some days for the reading to be consistent .

Have yet to actually run out in a full day of use -- meaning from ~6 AM until roughly midnight.

This is without doing anything to try to optimize or minimize utilization... quite to the contrary.

I got better battery life from my Z30 TBH. I'm not a heavy user and the app I use the most, once or twice a day, is Twitter. the rest of my use is made up of one or two quick calls, emailing and BBMing. My Z30 used to get very close to two full days, my average battery life for my Passport is 1 day 3 hours, not very impressive.

Before anyone suggests otherwise I never keep apps open after I've used them; I keep WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc all off when not in use as well. My carrier for this device doesn't support LTE and I live in an area where the network is continuously strong and reliable. Brightness is set to about 50% and I have the OEM Flip case that puts the phone in sleep mode when closed.

If you minimise the Device Monitor while in the battery mode it will actually show you your average battery life based on the life of the device to date after a couple of seconds.

That is based on current use. So if you are using your phone in the way you have been for the last bit then it will last that time. The standby time is crazy.

I would never leave the house with my Z10 or iPhone4 under 50%. I would be nervous if it was even under 75. With my passport I can take it to work under 50% and get home in time to charge it before the 20% mark

About 2 days 6 hours and about 10% left in the battery before I put it on the charger. I am a light to medium user. About 20 emails in per day. BBM with my wife, about 35 messages in and out a day. On the phone 45 to 60 minutes per day. My Z10 would last me a day on that load if I was lucky.
