Forever! But also waiting for some next generally available Jolla/Sailfish OS device. Same as BB10 was real successor of N9, Sailfish OS is the same for BB10.

I think I'll keep it until it dies...it can do most of the things for me at the moment...no need to waste money to get another phone which will do the same things...right?

Depends on how I feel about the slider when they release a BlackBerry10 version. I really loved the 9810 when I used it, though this large screen nano-laptop style of the Passport makes IT remote support much easier for me than other physical formats. I'll likely run till it breaks or they release something even better suited to my work

I plan to encase it in a luxury box and sell it for profit sometime in 2025.

I used to thnk tech hardware would be a nice thing to keep and resell in the future. Turn out pretty much anything related to cell phones gain value with time.

I am gonna keep Big Red as long as I can. I see no other phones out there to make me switch.

I just put my mint condition red one back in the original box where it will sit. Went back to my backup until I decide if I want to sell it and buy the Priv or SE..... It bugs me having it sit there but I don't want to risk damaging it and not being able to sell it at all.

If BlackBerry doesn't release android os soon for Passport (which is unlikely), it may be time to let this platform go. There are now several apps that I need to run which are not available as native and unfortunately don't run properly with the android runtime.
Sorry BlackBerry and BB10... but I did try for several years to make it work.
