Really? What BB You use? Look in the hide process and apps. Maybe you have much more running apps if you use at the moment. My Passport with OS 10.3.3.1463 drain 15% baterry by 2-3h on standby. When I talk or read @, web and other (not use WIFI) the same drain battery I have by 30 minutes.

Ooo, it's very strange. And check option you Pass SE battery saving mode, check the screen brightness and other option, etc.

PS: since 08:00 AM I use Tapatalk port on my Passport (baterry have 78%). Read and write. Now is 8:59 AM and baterry have 62%. In 1h my Pass by using Tapatalk draining baterry only (?) 16%

I'm having the same issue since upgrading my Passport to 10.3.3. Just checked Battery Monitor and it's showing 26% being consumed by Standby. This makes sense because the phone pretty much is in Standby all the time. I don't use it too much except for emails and an alarm clock. But this is only since the update. On 10.3.2 I got at least 2 or 3 days charge.

Thanks. I'll try that. Shouldn't need that to be on anyway if the phone is not being used for apps that require that info.

@armchairtycoon, that seems to have done the trick, at least for 1 day. Thank you for the suggestion, I should have known that on my own.

    These work even more

    1. Turn off 4g mobile data

    2. Beside mode at night

Inconclusion passport is not a lifestyle device..its not a device for listening to music, watching movies, social networking or most of all playing video games

The above will drain your battery

Passport is an email only device...Business only

Can you post a screenshot of Device monitor? Are you also running any Android apps?

Yes. Which tab should I post (CPU? Memory? etc.)?

I kind of disagree that the Passport is only for email... I listen a lot of music on my Passport, watch YT on the native app, read TONS of papers, articles and ebooks, use Twitter, WhatsApp , Foursquare, insta10, Web browser and FlipBoard and of course, read and reply lots of emails, in my 3 accounts. I bought few days ago BeMaps Pro, and it worked great on the Passport, turning my official GPS while driving. I updated for the last OS10 and didn't notice any battery drain or other issue. I usually take the phone off the charger at 7am and use it until 11pm or around midnight. My battery is around 35-40%. I use bedside mode every night. And I leave location on, with brightness around 60%.
I would recommend you to do a complete restart on the device. If doing this doesn't resolve, you may take a deeper procedure, like a security wipe. Or try to reinstall the update.
I'm pretty sure that the update is good. Sometimes it happens small issues and you may have to take these fixes.
Hope this helps you to have your phone back on shape.

I have an iPad and a MacBook, but my phone is "the" Passport.

^agree. Passport is a great all in one device. I'd say wipe your phone and start fresh if battery is giving you issues. It should last at least one day with pretty heavy use

    Joke of the year?
Why not just put it in airplane mode and turn on bedside mode, that way you can achieve 1 week + battery life.
Passport is an email only device right! Lol!

10.3.3 is terrible I agree. Luckily, I got more than one passport so I use one with 10.3.2 and there is no battery drain like 10.3.3 passport. If you're still in 10.3.2, do not update 10.3.3.

I had same problem after upgrade but it solved,
Inbuilt Amazon app is problem, Uninstall app by sachesi or PlayBook extention.
Now my BlackBerry gives average battery life about 16-18 hours with moderate use.

Passport is probably one of the best devices for listening to music with the awesome speakers it has and the good output on the headphone jack (along with the volume boost in bb10). Watching movies, I wouldn't do. But then again I think even a slab is too small for that. Prefer at the smallest, a iPad for movies/videos. Social networking, I only use instagram and twitter and igrann and blaq respectively work great for them. Video games, again I prefer that on my iPad. Everything you mentioned would drain the battery on any device but being that there's a big battery on the Passport and bb10 is pretty efficient, I wouldn't worry about it.
