    When pulling the passport out of the pocket it is almost impossible to wake the device up with just one hand reaching out for the top button. But it is very easy to lock the device by pressing the K key. Is there any other way to wake up the device except the akward looking way of reaching all the way up to the top of the device?

    Some one has made a post previously regarding waking Passport by screen.

    Try swipe not from dead center, but actually from top of E-R-T keys. I used to have problem waking my Passport up. But now it is up every wipe.

    Give it a try.

    Other are complaining that their Passport is already 'awake' even before getting out from their pants / trousers' pocket (some even reported that it's calling somebody while on their pocket) while the OP is trying to figure out how to 'wake up' the Passport easily... even our Passport has its own personality...

    I posted this before, but the problem with the phone pocket dialing etc is caused by the lock screen settings "wake device on new notifications"
    the thread on the issue points at all sorts of things, recommending things like disabling advanced interactions or swipe to wake.

    I don't have this problem, I used to. I disabled wake on new notifications, as it would be the obvious culprit. Problem solved, at least for me.

    BBM groups would wake my device every minute or less.
