I am very confuse on how to view the calendar in month view.

On some dates, I can see a green bar, grey bar and some coloured dots.

While I can understand the grey bar means the events, I dont get the green and the coloured dots.

There are some dates where I have 3 events but only 2 dots.

The colored dots correspond to the various calendars you have on your phone. They are usually tied to an email account. If you have several that you allow calendar access to, then you will have several colors. In the calendar, swipe down and choose manage. You will see the calendars there.

Clicking on both volume up and down buttons at the same time would allow you to take a screenshot... if you attach a screenshot here it would help your questions to be answered quicker.
