As for the compressed air, you may want to read the FINE PRINT on the can. Some years ago, it stated that the product shoud be used in a well ventilated area - ie don't breathe this stuff. I had purchased 6 cans for someone to clean some electronic boards - after 10 minutes this poor guy came out and I thought we was going to croak. Hopefully, they are not using the same chemicals today. Anyways, just make sure you are not killing yourself.
    Cheers.

Thanks for replies! A lot of great tips here.

Will have to get some isopropyl tomorrow and see how it goes.

I've used the pre-packaged wipes that re intended for use on LCD/LED screens. Works great, even on the back material.

Well I know it's been a while, but figured I would post.
I tried some isopropyl. Didn't quite work as good as I had hoped. My phone does seem a lot cleaner. But the B key and space bar still has that same grease spot. The OCD in me is kicking in and I just want to cry about it! Bah!!!

Just buy some Optico Cleaning Wipes for optical and electronic. Costco sells 3 Box pkgs. 1 Wipe will clean my eyeglasses, cellphone & Monitor before gets too dry. Safest thing too use.

I use a 100% botanical disinfectant called Benefect. I use this stuff on just about everything. Phones, meat cutting board, gym water bottle etc. A lot of yoga and massage clinics use this stuff. 99.99% kill rate but also safe enough to spray in your mouth. I've even used it after a few sketchy dates when traditional protection just wasn't available. But I digress. :|

I don't.. I have a dust-resistant cover and fingerprint-resistant screen protector. If I need to clean the keyboard I just grab a tissue.
