I'm new to this forum - but hoping someone can help - I just had an alert that my hotmail is no longer syncing, to check the email details and if not, contact the server - has this happened to anyone else today? Any suggestions what to do??
(BTW - the only change I have made today is to go onto 'youronlinechoices.eu' and deactivate companies tracking internet usage, as per the new FB privacy change - would this have affected things?)

Happened to me a couple of times... just stopped out of the blue. I think I just deleted and added my account again to fix it.... or re entered my password...

Just go back into settings > Accounts and put your password back in, it should fix it.

When mine stops working I have always had to delete and re add the effected account.

T-Mobile  SQW100-1 Passport running Autoloaded 10.3.1.2072.

Hence the should. Sometimes harsher action is needed.

Thanks for the feedback - I have deletd the account, reinstalled, entered password and still its saying it cannot be authenticated with your service provider......check account settings are correct (which i'm pretty sure all look fine).......any more ideas??!

Yes. Do what it said and see if there is something wrong with your account.

Sometimes when Yahoo and Hotmail detect a new device attempting to log in they stop the login and you have to use a computer to verify your credentials before you can set up the phone to work again.
Try from your computer and then try the phone again after.
