well, only if they have started pre production preps by now; there was a good chance that Bond might have been rocking a Passport with some nifty security features like they use on encrypted Z10s in Germany. Given the filming schedule you think its possible? For a Bond movie I cant imagine James Bond toting a better phone than a Passport !!

Well, believe it or not, a BlackBerry Z10 surfaces fairly prominently a few times in the latest Pierce Brosnan movie, 'The November Man'. But seeing Bond carrying a Passport would be uber-cool and give BlackBerry a massive shot in the arm.

Not a hope in hell. Sony has the phone placement contract on the Bond movies and has for the last few films.

I DO think we'll see the Passport in movies and TV, but it won't be a Bond film.

bond would never ever rock a phablet. guys, as cool as the passport is, or as popular as the galaxy note and iphone 6+ will be, large cell phones are simply in no way cool or sexy. bond would use a small flipphone or one of the mini-sized sonys or an iphone 4 or a 9900/Q10. he'd toss the phablet and say give me a startac.

and if anything, he'd use a classic over the passport. Simply put, Bond needs a call end key because he's a badass.

Sure it will be a Sony phone but hardly for that reason,

Skyfall's budget was 150-200 million, the next one will have a similar budget I am sure. I doubt choosing a different phone other than a Passport is/was a budgetary decision.

Didn't the Wall Street Journal recently report Sony was exiting the phone business? Maybe there is a chance... maybe Sony takes BB10 and makes a consumer oriented device? Now that would be cool.... q
