Last quarter saw Apple selling its billionth iOS device - a 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus - GSMArena Blog

I phones are selling like hotcakes. A billion is way too much. If it was BlackBerry passport than the fate of the BlackBerry would have seriously changed.
If a miracle happens that all these people buy the passport[ ] than BlackBerry would launch an all touch best looking device....

1 billion over roughly 7 years....about 142,857,140 each year. We can only dream that for BBRY.

Thorsten killed any chances of that ever happening. No vision. No execution

No he didn't. The downward spiral was already happening my friend. Clearly there were no vision and execution before him, because if they had that, they wouldn't have needed him at all. Would have been business as usual.

Times 10. It's an average of closer to 140 million units per year. (It's actually over 7.5 years technically)

IPhone sucks...if BlackBerry has apps it would be totally different. They both use a closed system. Because the number of users, the developers only make apps for ios...sad.

US technology giant Apple has reported the biggest quarterly profit ever made by a public company.
Apple reported a net profit of $18bn in its fiscal first quarter, which tops the $15.9bn made by ExxonMobil in the second quarter of 2012, according to Standard and Poor's.
Record sales of iPhones were behind the surge in profits.
Apple sold 74.5 million iPhones in the three months to 27 December - well ahead of most analysts' expectations.

I know Apple don't just make iphones but their profits are taking the p*** at about $200 a phone.

If BB ever achieve anything, I hope it won't do it in the same way Apple did!
The profit is astronomical! How? Like this:

Well, John Chen is trying to sell 10 million devices per year so at that rate it should only take 100 years to achieve this. It's just a matter of time. I think the great great grandchildren of the participants of the "I support BBRY..." thread may actually see it happen, along with their $100 party.

Yeah BlackBerry 10 isn't a vision, and the passport itself wasn't either? What a ridiculous statement
