    Hi guys,

So I'm hooked on a Passport. I've had quite a few different phones over the years, mainly iOS and Android devices, but back in 09 I had a Bold 9000... Loved it, loved the keyboard.

I'm bored of glass slabs, am desiring a real keyboard. Hence the Passport. I'm coming from an iPhone 6 Plus, so the size won't be an issue for me, I believe.

Apps are not a problem, It'll be the native apps mostly, possibly with an Android app or two loaded through Snap.

My only worry is the build quality. I've read a good bit about the screen coming loose. Should I be worried?

The main reason is that the Passport isn't readily available in Denmark, where I live. So I'll probably be purchasing it from the UK, hence quite a bit more of a bother should I need to return it.

Any thoughts here? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I haven't seen many people having a loose screen. There might seem to be a lot because these people who got that issue keep spamming the forum. Build quality of the Passport is great.

Right, that put me at peace a bit.

Will most likely get a cover of some sort anyway, and I guess that that will aid in avoiding the loose screen effect.

I think I'll be ordering a Passport soon, thanks guys.

Passport with Stilgut flip case here, and let me tell you absolutely no issues. No flickering, loose screen or low notification. Build quality is very good for for a mass produced product. Do it!

I got a loose screen in one corner. Sorta popped up. The phone got twisted a tiny amount maybe in my back pocket? Who knows. Carefully twisted it back straight. Screen now sits flat again and the screen tape that holds it does again. Easy fix if you happen to twist yours.

I have had at least 8 passports since the launch and all with different build dates, no lifting screens or quality issues, great device and built like a panzer tank.

In the year where companies rip you off with cheap build quality, BlackBerry Passport is 100% built with quality and precision.

It's not just an electronic device think of it as a work of art :P

No screen lifting issues with my Passport.

I've had my Passport for a few months now. No issues at all. I agree about the glass slab part... As much as I loved my Z10, there is absolutely nothing that feels better than typing on a physical keyboard.

    Go for it.

I've only had mine for a couple of days and even from that time I can share the fact that the device is SOLID all the way around. Typing feels better with physical keys, the screen on the Passport is right, sharp and vivid. The OS is fluid and stays out of the way especially with native apps like the Hub. I have Amazon, Google Playstore and BlackBerry World apps and they all run just fine. Battery life is great and using the phone for business and for some media consumption has been a pleasure. The Passport is a winner. You'll love it.
