    There is a red light always flashes on the left hand side of the BlackBerry symbol on top of the phone. I don't think it used to be on all the time...recently it is like on whenever I turn the phone on. P.S it is not the one on the top right, it is on the left.

    It's your proximity sensor. Did you happen to install any new apps the may use? Eg: Pocketsafe which prevents pocket dialing.
