Just wondering if anybody has been experiencing issues with the passport touchscreen when exposed to heat (ex: outside in sunshine)?

I've been having issues whereby the screen doesn't respond to commands, or keeps registering the "touch" commands when I am no longer touching it. Otherwise, the bottom of the screen doesn't work.

Just want to make sure that it is a device specific issue, before I ask for a repair.

Do you have a screen protector on the device? The screen protector could be causing the issue.

No screen protector. Been using it bare since I bought it in Feb. Haven't experienced these issues before... But with warm weather (80F and higher-ish) the issues are reoccurring.

Anything else change around the time of the issues? New app, updates, or something along those lines could have caused it.

I'm in Asia where the air is already hot and sunny all the time but my Passport has had no problem when being outside under the sun.

Before the 10.3.1 upgrade, I was having the issue of not being able to end calls while outside due the screen staying dark after taking it away from my ear. I would either have to shut it down and restart or remember to use the speaker. It's okay now.

Unfortunately there has been no changes to the phone in terms of apps or updates.

By hot though, I should note that the sun really makes the phone hot, especially the metal frame.
