OK, kind of a weird? I am deaf in one ear. I am able to rip music in mono so I can hear both tracks but when I listen to podcasts I find that often, when there are two people on a podcast, one of them is lower in volume. I think that guy is on the other stereo channel. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the sound to mono, or a way to equalize the stereo. Any ideas, an app. Did think, if I could find a decent mono ear bud that would work.

Hi, fellow one sided deaf person here. I use the Neutron music app to put music in mono and bought it for this sole purpose (I had to message the app developer to ask how to do it). I know with Apple iOs that there is an option in the main phone settings to easily do this and I'm a little disappointed that the option isn't there with BlackBerry 10.

    Purchase a single ear phone
See if that switches it to mono
