Something I just noticed after doing the latest update, is a double tap on the screen enables full screen video when one is playing. So a true 1x1 ratio... is this a new feature or was it always there and I just now noticed lol? It does it pretty much from any video source... embedded, YouTube etc...

Double tap didnt work for me, but there is a white rectangle in the top of the playing video which with one tap it toggles to one the these ratios 1:1 or 4:3 or 16:9
Also in 1:1 it just zooms on the video and although sets full screen but doesnt show the side parts of movie( it cuts 16:9 or 1:1 ratios to make a square 1:1!!!!)
ALSO I have to say that it is not a new future for 10.3.3

I've seen the white rectangle before, but not for every video, and it did toggle the way you described, so agreed that part not new. But the double tap works regardless if the white rectangle is there and also I can now pinch to zoom in or zoom out on any video. Don't remember that being there either...

Thanks a bunch! Wow I don't know if it's weird saying I kinda wait for this but the black space when viewing videos always annoy me.

Zoom on videos was available before, double tapping works only when viewing videos on browser, but still goes into 4:3; so no full 1:1 ratio.

One app that provides true 1:1 ratio and that I know of is SuperTube.
