What is wrong with Passport phone app? At least three times a day I have to restart my passport because the phone app will freeze it up. And if it doesn't freeze the phone up, it takes forever to respond, like answering calls or hanging up. Maybe 25% of the time the phone app might work smoothly and correctly.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

I have a similar issue with my Passport
I either receive or make a call... after the call has ended, if the other party doesn't hang up my Passport locks up for roughly 30 seconds, then unlocks so I can hang up the call.

Yeah!?! And to fix, I have tried everything but loading a leaked OS onto the phone.

    Hey Shawnreum...
If you search Crackberry, there are a few threads telling of their Blackberry freezing issues.

    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...eezes-1062166/
http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...sport-1055735/ (from the looks of it, you even started this thread)
http://forums.crackberry.com/ask-que...eezing-963263/ (even last year on a different release had freezing issue)
    http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...ssport-993682/
    http://forums.crackberry.com/general...ezing-1040776/

I see that you reloaded the OS (10.3.2.????)
Someone else stated they had the same issue (I was just commenting, to let you know you are NOT the only one that is experiencing freezing issue), but they upgraded to .2514 and hasn't had a freeze up. I'm still running 10.3.2.2474 and have micro freezes, I just wait for about 20-30 seconds and the freezing quits. (only experienced freezing with phone calls)
Some stated they hit the power button off then on and the freezing stops for them.
What Android Apps are you running, I know that you made a backup but didn't restore from a backup... after the OS reload, did you have the freezing when there were no Android apps?

More information you give the better help you get.
Less information you give, we give you generic answers.
I am not a Blackberry tech, but I respond if I can help or to concur with others on issues for BB10.

Only Android app I'm running is Rhapsody, from Amazon app store.

Since that post of mine I've even tried running no Android apps.

I'm still stuck on .24 same as you.

It won't update to anything newer. I've tried all the little tricks to. Like hard key power cycle. Pulling the SIM. Etc....

    Thank you for your time.
I'll go check out those other threads, see if there's something I can grab from them.

I should add, when my passport does freeze, it's not completely froze.
    Hard keys still work
Swype gestures at edge of screen still work.

But the majority off the screen won't respond.

It reminds me of an Android launcher UI over top the real OS UI freezing up. Basically rendering the phone useless until it's rebooted.
