What os did you update to, if you want you can load 2582, it solved it for a lot of people

I have had this problem happen every once and a while since the Passport has launched...hasn't happened enough to drive me crazy though.

Exactly same with mine.

What os did you update to, if you want you can load 2582, it solved it for a lot of people

I'm currently on 2582 and it's flickers on the SMS app where you type a message.

I have been saying the flicker is not resolved in some OS10 apps since I updated and everyone thought I was nuts...it still has a flicker issue just less pronounced

That is not the screen flickering, that is just the SMS app loading the thread and it does that effect on the compose text field.

Do something: load one SMS conversation that has only one SMS and see if it does the same.

Once I upgraded to the OS that BlackBerry said it fixed the flickering it fixed it for me. Now I�m on OS 10.3.1.2576 (upgraded via OTA) and still no flickering.,

But as I said before, the screen flickering is one thing (rapidly the screen turning on and off) and the flickering on the SMS is another thing.

Flickering on the input bar in text has been around for a while...the flickering of the entire screen is completely separate issue.

It's intermittent but the 10.3.1 update has created a few problems on my Z10 and Q10 where the screen starts flickering at a horrendous rate. I shut everything down and restart it. The same with my new Z30. I've had a small bit of flickering on my Passport but nothing to freak out about. I'm hoping BlackBerry will correct these problems with a fix in an update - soon.

Never own a cell phone before in the last 40+ years and received my BB passport last night. However, the first thing I see is the flicker after I upgraded it to 10.3.1.1779. I see it when I tab the "phone" icon on the lower left corner. The pop-up phone page starts to flick. Also, I need to tab the "phone" icon a few times to bring up the page or even need to press on the icon hard.

I definitely had the full screen flicker pre 10.3.1.2576. Not once since then.
