    I agree also. I loved doing that on webOS. Even a small flick up gesture inside an active frame to close it would be cool.

    Gotta agree with that.

    Not being able to flick to close an app was my biggest disappointment with BB10.

    Don't get me wrong. The idea is top notch and it worked on a huge PlayBook. But I can imagine that you accidentally close apps by that on smartphones. So the ratio of swiping up, side down and a pause, like focusing and clicking on "x" is just alright.

    There isn't really a reason to screw up and accidentally close an app.
    In the minimized app screen, swiping up isn't a motion that's used for anything. It's not like there is any reason to scroll up from that screen other than to flick to close an app.
